How to hard reset mikrotik router to default factory setting - It can be performed if forgotten the administrator password mikrotik router (rb450g,rb750 and other series). There are 2 ways you can do to reset the password mikrotik router, that is :
1. Reset Jumper and Reset Button
2. Net Install
Reset Button
Most MikroTik device is equipped with a reset button. Look for the reset button on your MikroTik router, usually labeled "RES" and not labeled. Please see the picture below, reset button on RB450G.

1. Turn off the mikrotik router.
2. Press and hold the reset button (do not release)
3. Turn on the mikrotik router and wait until the USER LED labeled with “ACT” starts flashing.
4. Release the Reset Button
5. Wait for a few minutes, the router will restore the factory settings.
Reset Jumper
The second alternative that is by reset jumper. How to reset this by putting metal objects on jumper holes, in order to create a short circuit in the jumper. Please see the capture below :
Reset Password Using NetInstall
